"What Are My Medi-Cal Choices?" is a decision-making guidebook for seniors and people with disabilities who receive Medi-Cal, California's Medicaid program. It helps beneficiaries choose between regular Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal managed care plans by providing clear explanations of benefits, services, costs, where to go with problems, and how to find help. The guidebook was written at a 4-6th grade level. Other user-friendly features include question and answer sections and a decision checklist. The guidebook has been adapted into Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Hmong, Farsi, Tagalog, Russian, Cambodian, Armenian, and Arabic, as well as well as Braille, and three audio formats.
