HRA worked with the California Office of the Patient Advocate (OPA) to design, write, and organize sections of its consumer website, in English, Spanish, and Chinese. We worked closely with the department to define user profiles, conduct usability-testing, and develop limited-literacy content.

The site explains how health plans work, different kinds of care, and dealing with problems. It includes interactive worksheets and comprehensive links. The OPA provides information and resources to health care consumers and advocates throughout California.
