Project Summary:

Health Research for Action conducted a series of usability tests with consumers and professionals on the CalCareNet website, a pilot resource on long-term services and supports in California. We also conducted the validated Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM),to evaluate how well the website meets health literacy standards. Based on these tests, we recommended improvements and provided text for selected revised web pages. The CalCareNet website is sponsored by the California Health and Human Services Agency under the California Community Choices Project.
