Project Summary:

Biomonitoring California is a new state program. One of its mandates is to communicate the significance of biomonitoring to people throughout the state. A relatively new field of study, biomonitoring is technically complex and can be emotionally challenging.
HRA developed and usability tested an informational brochure about the program for the general public in English and Spanish. The brochure is now being developed and usability tested in Chinese. We are also conducting health literacy assessments of the Biomonitoring California website and working with the program to make the site more accessible to the general public.
