How do you know if something is working? At Health Research for Action our evaluation teams assess whether programs, materials, and other interventions have their intended effects.

With limited resources and unlimited need, health programs have to be both efficient and successful. Using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, we develop systems to evaluate the complex impacts of health communications and other interventions.

Our comprehensive Parents Kit Evaluation is one example of our approach. Because we were able to demonstrate the effectiveness of the kit in changing parental behavior, the model has been duplicated in other states and expanded in California.
