Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs Fact Sheets

HRA developed and tested clear language materials on prescription drugs for Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™, a free public service website. As part of an ongoing project, we developed 12 fact sheets, as well as several brochures, based on best practices in health literacy.

The mission of Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™ is to provide consumers and their doctors with information to help guide prescription drug choices based on effectiveness, side effects, safety and price. The project aims to improve access to needed medicines to millions of Americans who lack insurance coverage for prescription drugs. The fact sheets can also benefit insured consumers who face large co-pays and who need unbiased information about drugs.

The following fact sheets are now available to the public. You can download the English and Spanish fact sheets individually from the links below or from the Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™ website. Or download a full set of English fact sheets below. The complete set of Spanish fact sheets are available for downloading from page 4 of the HRA Publications Archive.
