Health Research for Action helps our clients reach their audiences effectively using video, DVDs, CD-ROMs, PSAs, TV, audio, radio spots, print, Internet sites, web-casts, Braille, and multimedia combinations.
For example, HRA has developed mass media communications for pregnant women, new parents, childcare providers, youth, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Topics include healthy babies, smoking cessation, substance abuse, youth development, obesity, physical activity, academic success, emergency preparedness, success in the workplace, community development, disabilities, and elder care.
To build customized solutions that work, we involve actual users in designing, testing, and evaluating our clients' communication programs. Our tools include interviews, focus groups, and usability testing to design and evaluate communication programs for diverse audiences using multiple languages.
