Communications

Health information can save lives — if it is communicated effectively. At Health Research for Action we’re pros at breaking down health jargon into language that people can understand and use.

We work with audiences to understand their knowledge, concerns, and capacities and to design appropriate resources.

It is critical that we succeed. America’s families need accurate, up-to-date health information. Our resources help people raise children, understand health information, improve health and wellness, and make choices about insurance and care.

Health Literacy

Cindy Ehnes, Director of California's Department of Managed Health Care, highlights her department's work with HRA on health communications in regional health literacy town hall.
